366/2020 (May - August)

Beginning January 2020 I actively sought to make photographs on a daily basis. When I began the project, I had no idea what the year would bring or how close to home we all would be for the duration. The simple act of making photographs carried me through the strangeness of the year. It seemed that there was no other option but to be present.

Now that Iā€™m older, life goes by faster than it used to. Photographs can turn the ephemeral into something eternal. They force us to pause and to look. These images form a visual record of where I had been in 2020, and more importantly, what it felt like to be there.
